This self-contained bed occupancy system provides a local, audible alarm upon bed vacancy, providing an extra level of security for care recipients on bed rest. Place the bed sensor under the hip of the care receiver on the mattress. The accompanying alarm box can sit on a nightstand or be hooked onto a headboard.
